Sponsorship

at the Jeffersonville Farmer's Market

THANK YOU

The Farmers Market wouldn't exist without our incredibly supportive sponsors. Like the raging Lamoille River we adapt to the current climate, & this year is foundational as we repair our structure from the riverbanks, up to the Greenway Lawn!

Community sponsors are encouraged to commit extra funds this year as we recover losses and work towards a sustainable infrastructure.

High Water
Flooding in 2023 at the Jeffersonville Farmer's Market

We lost everything.

The bones of the trolly-stage have served as a sad reminder of all that the village has endured in 2023. This summer the stage will come to life again with live music at the Jeffersonville Farmer's Market! The Cambridge Area Rotary is sponsoring a rebuilt stage to share with us this summer.

Our community has pulled together collectively, donating picnic tables to enjoy meals at, signs to advertise the Market, Musical performances, and more. We look forward to creating a new sustainable organization alongside our neighbors. Every dollar we receive will go right back into the organization to offset the many costs ahead of us this year. Please consider getting involved today, through donation or volunteer opportunities.

So, what are we going to do this year?

If there is one thing we learned in 2023, it was to expect the unexpected. We had two record breaking floods in the village. The iconic images of water submerging the Silo's show how strong this community is. We will wade the high-water, beautifully!

Our five person board will watch weather forecasts closely this season. If there is fear of water rising, the Farmer's Market will enact an emergency protocol, calling upon community members to prepare for safety. If you are interested in joining our emergency response team in 2024 please reach out the jeffersonvillemarketmanager@gmail.com

Music

Christine Malcom -

Good music comes from the heart and when Christine Malcolm, Fran Forim, Rudy Dauth, Hank Clark and Andy Sutphen get together to play there is a lot of big heartedness. Their band, Kate Brook Romp, named after the otters of Wolcott VT, settles into a Northern Vermont groove that weaves folk-grass with threads of psychedelica and tufts of country and rock.

Eric Bushey -

Death, God and home. It's hard to find three stronger themes in folk music, and Eric Bushey leans into each of them on his debut album, Been There a Long, Long Time. Eric, a long-time JFAM performer will do a solo set on this season’s market. His unique blend of originals, old-time, and covers on a collection of vintage banjos and guitar are sure to have something for everyone to enjoy. He may even have a few special guests.
