Our Team
As a non-profit entity we felt it was important to assemble a team that could bolster the future of the Jeffersonville Farmer's Market. Together we volunteer to take upon the various administrative and managerial duties of running a Farmer's Market. Backed by a supprtive community we strive to sow the seeds for sustainability and growth. Introduce yourself when you see us around town, we are passionate about the village we all call home.

Who We Are
Founder
Sierra Langdell
Sierra was born and raised in Arizona, but decided to move to Vermont after college to be closer to her mom. A few years later she married a local vt'er and they bought a home in Cambridge. Sierra works in Jeffersonville as a Realtor with Legacy Homes of Kellar Williams VT, and owns Leading Edge Auctions. With two young children beginning school, Sierra is always actively seeking ways to participate in the local community and help out where needed. Though unfamiliar with the Farmer's Market operations, she eagerly jumped in to revive the Market upon hearing it was closing. She is honored by all the support from the community and hopes to make the new Market one that will be sustainable forever!
Market Manager
Olivia Comeau
Olivia has lived in Jeffersonville for most of her life, growing up she enjoyed riding her bicycle to school and picking wildflowers alongside the greenway trail. The village has grown along with her and she is inspired to breathe some fresh air into her role at the Farmer's Market this summer. Using her experience in small business and human services, Olivia brings an energetic perspective to the Market. She believes collaboration from the community is necessary for creating a thriving and vibrant Farmer's Market, connecting with other Market Managers and the local community are top priorities. You will often find Olivia soaking up the sun on her paddle-board, or digging in the perennial gardens, while trying to keep her dogs out of the carrot patch!
Treasurer
Angela Tweedy
Angie was born and raised in rural Iowa, not far from her grandparents’ 5-generation family farm. After earning a BA in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Missouri and spending a summer studying rural community development in Costa Rica, she worked as a Grants Project Manager and family farm camp coordinator at the Missouri Rural Crisis Center (local farmer-support non-profit). In the summer of 2020, she packed her husband, their two dogs, & all their belongings and moved halfway across the country (as one does in the middle of the pandemic) to study at UVM’s Master’s program in Community Development and Applied Economics. While there, she worked with Extension, and she now works as a Grants Manager at UVM. Last November, the family settled in Jeffersonville. The town’s strong sense of community is wonderfully reminiscent of her rural upbringing and has quickly made Jeffersonville feel like home.
Community Representative
Gregory Johnson
Greg is a transplanted flatlander who never liked the artificial and disconnected culture of the suburbs he grew up in, but after moving to rural western Massachusetts for college in 2008, then northern Vermont in 2014 and finally feeling ‘home’, he and his wife Jess decided to plant themselves permanently in Lamoille County. Greg now works in pharmaceutical drug development for psychiatric conditions and, under Jess’ direction, is slowly restoring their nearly 200-year-old house in Cambridge. As a health-conscious person and scientist by training, Greg has always been an advocate of healthy, sustainably produced food and supporting local businesses. Greg and Jess have been regular patrons at the Jeff Farmer’s Market since 2016 and, believing it to be a fundamental part of what makes life in Cambridge special, wanted to do anything they could to help rescue it, which in 2024 will include becoming a full-season vendor on behalf of local small business Starbird Fish Co.
*Bonus Thank You to Greg for building our picnic tables*
